Last weekend In Okotoks was the last chance for bantam teams to measure themselves against the competition before the start of the regular season.  All that’s left is a one final week of camp and the season begins.

I would encourage anyone in Calgary, if you call yourself a football fan, to come watch these young football players put on a show. Most pros started their career in minor football,  and these young players play with desire and passion.  I’ve never been disappointed seeing them play, and my wife always asked me how was it.  I always tell her "ya shoulda been there". I tell you, there’s always good games with great future prospects to watch.

Saturday August 28 starting at 9:00 am, along with action all day long, will start a new season of football for the bantam teams.  All games will be held at Shouldice Park.
